Ethics is a teaching method that navigates our thoughts and actions. Ethics defines exactly what is good and evil and how we should act in everyday life. Ethics defines human norms, it is essentially shaped by our history and philosophy.
Ethics comes from the Greek and means tradition or custom. Ethics and analytical logic play an important role in all great philosophers. It is the basis of today's thinking and acting, values of human beings can be determined by it.
Ethics is positive action for the common good and is justified by good doctrines.
Essentially, ethics is supported by morality. Morality determines good and evil in the social context in relation to family, community or state.
Therefore, morality can be said to be the basis of all rules of conduct within a community. Ethics as a generic term is thus the theory of morality. It provides scientific data for morality, as ethics is a section of philosophy.
